MSc Student Sponsorship
Petroleum Experts offers students the opportunity to have sponsorships to study for a one year full time Masters of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
The opportunity is open to students who have completed a BSc or MSc in:
- Chemical Engineering,
- Mechanical Engineering
- Science Degree (e.g. Physics, Mathematics, ..)
Applications should be sent to Petroleum Experts before the end of February to be considered for sponsorship. In parallel the candidate should also apply to their preferred United Kingdom University running an MSc in Petroleum Engineering. Currently an MSc in Petroleum Engineering is offered at:
- Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh
- Imperial College, London
Criteria for consideration for sponsorship
- Studied in related engineering, science or mathematics studies
- Top academic performance in their current degree
- Current degree must be at a recognised upper tier university or academic institution in Europe
- The candidate must be accepted by the relevant academic institution to study for the MSc in Petroleum Engineering
Sponsorship Selection
Stage One - based on application and letter supporting their reasons why they believe they are suitable to be considered for sponsorship.
Stage Two - Half day interview in the Petex office in Edinburgh.
