CTRES
CTRes (Cut-Down RESOLVE) is a part of the IPM suite, and is licensed separately from all the other products.
It has two main functions:
- In standalone use, it provides Resolve-like functionality for users who do not use third-party tools. For example, it provides the ability to monitor GAP runs as the run is in progress, or it allows more complex event management to be performed.
- It also acts as a calculator underneath IFM, to provide functionality that is not to be replicated within IFM. Specifically, this functionality is:
- Event driven scheduling
- Scenario management
- Computer Clustering
