Surface Network Design
GAP provides the ability to design and evaluate gathering and distribution networks in context of the complete petroleum engineering system. Capturing the dynamic response of well interactions and reservoir deliverability provides the basis to understand gathering and distribution system flow assurance.
Field development and exploitation scenarios can be investigated to understand potential well back-out and system bottleneck issues to deliver the security of future production capability.
PROSPER On-Line - Pipeline Design
GAP can be used for Front-End Engineering Studies where the thermal calculation can be changed to a full Enthalpy Balance via PROSPER On-Line. Studies such as:
- Slug analysis
- Pigging and slug catcher design
- Hydrate formation
- Steam
- Sand transport
- Etc.,
GAP has the ability to also model multi-phase looped flow systems including complete flexible network topologies.
Surface Equipment
GAP provides a variety of surface equipment options such as:
- Multiphase pumps
- Generic pumps
- Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
- Inline programmable elements for custom equipment modelling and custom calculations
- Valves
- Fittings
GAP delivers knowledge of the required gathering and distribution system configuration and equipment to ensure success of field design and development strategies.
