RESOLVE provides the ability to globally optimise through client modules and set the field objective function at any level in a given system.
The following example shows a typical full-field model where the objective function could be set at the Excel economics level for instance to maximize instantaneous revenue.
The objective function will be managed by control parameters in the surface network model or the RESOLVE event driven schedule routine:
The model consists of:
- 4 reservoir models: Eclipse100, Eclipse 300, REVEAL and MBAL
- 3 surface network models: GAP Production, water Injection and gas injection
- 2 Process models: UniSim
- 1 Economic Spreadsheet: Excel
