| The objective for the course is to introduce advanced inflow modelling concepts to petroleum and reservoir engineers. Effects of temperature on inflow perfomance, with investigations on physical phenomena such as thermal fracturing will be considered, along with modelling of tight gas and tight oil wells. | Agenda |
| This Course is designed for users already familiar with the first level of Integration within IPM (GAP, PROSPER and MBAL) and wish to take the integrated production modelling approach to the next level, integrating numerical simulation reservoir models, process models, economics as well as implementing Global Optimisation and Field Management Rules within the system.
This Course covers how to dynamically connect multiple applications and the opportunity that this level of integration brings at the moment of fully optimising our production system.
The Course content is covered by a series of projects with a variety of Engineering Objectives, from Field Development Planning to Daily Field Optimisation.
At the end of the course, not only will the attendees be familiar with the use of RESOLVE but will also gain an understanding of how to best formulate global optimisation problems within such Platform. | Agenda |
| This course is targeted to those engineers that have (i) attended the Standard IPM course previously, and (ii) have consolidated their familiarity of MBAL, PROSPER and GAP through consistent use over time.
This course will assume a base level of familiarity of the tools, and is intended promote the analytical features available in creating physics based field realisations in the IPM tools. | Agenda |
| This training course is intended for DOF ‘power users’, support engineers and in-house development engineers to learn how to configure, implement, modify and maintain DOF systems. The 5 day format allows for a comprehensive end-to-end coverage of the design and technology within the DOF system, covering the full DOF construction and deployment cycle, workflow development and advanced implementation concepts required for a deployment. Knowledge of interacting with historians and databases as well as the design of graphical interfaces will aid with understanding many parts of the course, although is not a compulsory pre-requisite. | Agenda |
| Our Integrated Structural Geology course using MOVE follows a fixed structure over five days. The course provides an introduction to basic structural geology theory and practice aimed at geologists and engineers. A background in structural geology is not required. The course uses practical exercises and the MOVE Software Suite as required. It is largely hands-on, introducing the theory and principles underlying the application of structural geology analysis in extractive industries such as oil & gas and mining. | Agenda |
