About this Vacancy

This is a senior-level opportunity in our Houston, TX office, for someone with strong experience in commercial operations, contracts, or bid management, who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of contracts and licensing services, while supporting the growth of the wider team.

 

What you'll be doing

You’ll take ownership of core contracts and licensing processes, act as a trusted point of contact for clients, and guide junior team members. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  •         Preparing accurate and timely software price quotations for existing and new clients.
  •         Managing tender processes: drafting response documentation, submitting tenders, and providing post-award support
  •         Issuing license agreements and contract addenda, and participating in contract negotiations
  •         Overseeing the distribution of software products via courier and email
  •         Assisting clients with download or security device issues
  •         Issuing sales invoices in line with financial controls
  •         Managing end-to-end client KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, efficiently responding to client requests for company information and ensuring the provision of all necessary documentation
  •         Engaging directly with clients by email and through meetings (primarily via Microsoft Teams, with occasional in-person meetings) to support their procurement processes
  •         Supporting and enhancing team capability in contracts and licensing
  •         Offering proactive ad hoc assistance and support to both clients and internal colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the company.

Qualifications

You will need:

 

  •         5+ years of relevant work experience within contracts, legal administration, bid management, or a related field
  •         Bachelor’s degree in related field or applicable discipline
  •         High proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
  •         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  •         Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  •         Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  •         A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
  •         A collaborative, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in helping clients and colleagues succeed
  •         Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK to collaborate with colleagues at our Edinburgh/Guildford offices
  •         Proficiency in English and Spanish
