About this Vacancy
Petex is looking for a motivated individual to join the Reception Team in our new Guildford office. As part of the team, you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the provision of an efficient and quality administrative service to the whole office, and to our clients worldwide. This is very much a hands-on position where you will learn by doing the job rather than following a formal training programme.
Primary Reception Responsibilities:
• Answering incoming calls and transferring as appropriate
• Greeting and registering visitors to the office
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
• Stock control of office supplies and ensuring that the reception area, visitor spaces, and storerooms are kept tidy at all times
• Providing ad-hoc assistance and support to clients and colleagues to achieve the goals of the company
Additional Responsibilities:
o Arranging catering as applicable
o Printing and binding course manuals and certificates
o Supporting with event bookings and contracts with suppliers.
o Registering and welcoming clients to our annual User Meeting
Qualifications
To succeed you will need to demonstrate:
- Good A-Levels (or equivalent) in both Maths andEnglish
- Strong abilities in the use of MS Office but especially Excel &Word
- Excellent communicationskills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Attention todetail
- A willingness to help clients and colleagues to achieve the goals of the Company
Knowledge of Adobe products would be beneficial.
