About this Vacancy

We are looking for a highly capable Technical Writer to develop and maintain technical documentation for our software suite.

This role focuses on complex domains like engineering, geology, mining and others. You’ll work with engineers, geoscientists, and software developers to produce user-centric documentation that supports our technical users across our suite of tools.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Documentation:

  • Create and maintain user manuals, product guides, context sensitive help content, training materials, integration documentation and release notes for software

Collaboration & Domain Engagement:

  • Collaborate with engineers, geoscientists and software developers to understand domain-specific workflows
  • Participate in discussions to ensure technical accuracy and usability of documentation.

Content Management:

  • Manage documentation across multiple releases and formats (PDF, HTML, online help portals).
  • Maintain consistency with company style guides and industry best practices.

User Experience & Accessibility:

  • Transcribe existing technical and scientific concepts into concise, usable documentation for technical users
  • Develop visuals, flow diagrams, and tutorials to simplify complex workflows.​

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree with experience in related technical software development fields.

·        Experience writing technical documentation

·        Proficiency with documentation tools.

·        Excellent English written communication - Native English or English level proficiency to meet the level of CEFR level C2 or above

Skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

  • Experience using software like:

    • Help and Manual

    • Flare

    • Visio or similar tools

    • Microsoft 365
